How can I find out if I have a Surface Volume 1 or ii?
I bought information technology about 2 years agone. I judge I didn't write down the model number as I tin't find it. I went to Settings & System. I can find out the CPU (i7-6600U), the RAM (xvi GB), and the disk size (1 TB), but I can't find the model.
I tin besides find the Device ID and Product ID, just they are too long to blazon. (Why the h*ll do the big-headed a-holes at M$FT brand the data in those fields protected and so I tin't re-create and paste?)
Thank you

I retrieve I found the answer. Printing the Windows key, then type "organization information". In the dialog that comes up, await nether "Organisation Model", virtually the 7th item.
Mine simply says "Surface Volume". No number. So I presume that information technology's a Surface Book one. They must not have anticipated that they might accept a later model at some signal.
Is that correct? Tin someone with a later model study what it says for them?
Thank you
